This product has been on the market for over a decade and seems to be one of the first products of its kind. It works by using a static charge that attaches organic fibers to your hair. It’s a concealer product, it does not re-grow hair, so use it with a medical product like Minoxidil or other hair growth solution.

We’ve heard some good things about Nanogen and we’ve also seen it compared to Toppik so we tested both products back to back to see if there really is a difference. Nanogen is a hair loss concealer made of microscopic keratin hair fibers that can be sprinkled onto thinning hair and bald spots to instantly increase the thickness and density of each hair strand. The only ingredient we could find listed for this product was the keratin fibers.

The fibers are available in five natural shades and are made of actual human hair instead of the sanitized synthetic protein fibers of some other fiber sprays.
