Type of Solution: Hair Thickening Topical Treatment
Created by L’Oreal. This is a topical product that contains Vitamin B3 complex and claims to stimulate cellular activity and increase blood circulation in scalp to help reduce the risk of hair loss and make hair strong. Some users report less hair loss in shower after a few weeks. Though this product contains nutrients it does not contain ingredients that block DHT so the “stop hair loss claim” may not be valid.

This product is a leave in conditioner that uses powerful organic proteins that get absorbed into the hair follicle as well as coating the outside of the hair shaft and claims to increase hair density by up to 50%. We found, while not a 50% increase in fullness, a notable difference in fullness and body occurred.

Created and distributed by Spencer Forrest Inc., this product adjusts hairs PH and allows the Keratin protein formula to absorb into the hair follicles. This is one of many hair serums on the market, but we found it gave thin hair good volume for the price. This is a good product for women with long, thin or thinning hair.

Used by dermatologists to help patients suffering from Alopecia and those who have undergone transplant surgery, this lotion is applied directly to the scalp in areas where hair is thinning in order to conceal the skin beneath. Couvre does not stimulate or interfere with hair growth. We found this product very durable when completely wet. It stays on while swimming or sweating and only comes out with the use of shampoo. It also covers up gray roots in between colorings.
